Gloss House is a nail studio in a two-storey house painted the color of strawberry milk.
It used to be a flower shop.
The awning came with the house, and so did the florist’s long wooden counter, which is now the front desk. We had the awning re-striped and painted the door to match.
Manicures happen downstairs, at the tables by the shop window. Pedicures are upstairs, where the two front windows look down on the street.
The polish wall runs down the back hall, three hundred bottles sorted by shade. You’re welcome to stand there as long as you like.
Before you come in
- Walk-ins before noon, appointments after.
- Running late? Call, and we’ll hold the chair for ten minutes.
- Coming back for gel? Taking the old set off is included.
- Kids’ manicures are on Saturday mornings, for anyone who can sit still for twenty minutes.
